Tomorrow  landUnite 2017: Thousands evacuated after huge fire breaks out at Barcelona festival   Around 22,000 people have been evacuated from the Tomorrowland Unite festival in Barcelona after a fire broke out on the main stage. No injuries have been reported, according to Spanish newspaper El Pais . The blaze apparently broke out after a pyrotechnic element malfunctioned went wrong.  Social media images showed huge flames climbing up the side of the stage.  Eyewitnesses said the stage "exploded". The inferno was later extinguished. The Tomorrowland Unite festival was taking place at the Can Zam Park in Santa Coloma de Gramenet on Saturday evening when the left-hand side of the stage went up in flames. The director general of civil protection in Catalunya tweeted that 22,143 people had been evacuated from the event, but no injuries had been reported so far. She escaped from that vehicle and flagged down the driver of another car, who helped her, the police said.

The crush happened during a derby match between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. The stadium, also known as Soccer City, is the biggest in South Africa and holds around 87,000 people. Public safety official Michael Sun confirmed the deaths on Twitter. He added that all gates at the stadium had been opened and the situation was now under control. Live television coverage of the match, which was allowed to continue with Kaizer Chiefs winning 1-0, showed no obvious disturbance at the stadium.
