DWYANE WADE REACHES ONE-YEAR DEAL WITH CAVALIERS A reunion between Dwyane Wade and LeBron James is happening. Wade, who was bought out by the Bulls this week after one season in Chicago, reached a one-year, $2.3 million deal with the Cavaliers on Tuesday afternoon, according to The Vertical . The 12-time All-Star, who was an unrestricted free agent, was eligible to sign a veteran's minimum contract. He had been rumored to rejoin the Heat in Miami, where he began his career in 2003 and co-starred with James from 2010-14. The longtime friends won two titles and appeared in four NBA Finals with the Heat . DORTMUND BREAKS CLUB REVENUE RECORD German Bundesliga football club Borussia Dortmund has revealed that it achieved a new revenue record during the 2016-17 financial year. The 2017 figure jumped up by 7.8 per cent to a record €405.7m ($489.3m) . Dortmund’s consolidated turnover, adjusted for internal transfer activity, rose by 16.8 per cent to €328.4m. "We have broken through our revenue sound barrier. We had originally planned to do so only in 2019," said chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke. "From 2011 to 2017, we have achieved an overall profit after tax of around €134 million, and are as such one of the most profitable companies in Europe." Watzke indicated Borussia Dortmund's worth was "upwards of €1bn." Dortmund’s greatest source of income was revenue derived from the club’s participation in the Uefa Champions League – securing €51m. RYAN GIGGS AND WIFE STACEY TO DIVORCE Court proceedings relating to the division of assets between the football star and his former partner are ongoing. The estranged wife of former Manchester United footballer Ryan Giggs has been granted a divorce at London's Family Court. Stacey Cooke married Giggs in September 2007 and the couple has two children. Her lawyer, James Brown, said she wished to finalise the divorce with as little attention on proceedings as possible. "Mrs Giggs' primary focus has always been and will continue to be the welfare of her family," he said. "Her only interest is bringing these events to as swift and amicable a conclusion as possible, so that she and her family can move on."
