Protesters express their anger by wrapping their dead in UN shrouds Activists in besieged Eastern Ghouta have taken to wrapping dead bodies in United Nations banners to express residents' "frustration" with the international community, activist monitoring group the Damascus Media Center told Reporters. One such photo, showing two children wrapped in the flag of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), made the rounds on social media over the weekend. Activist Rami Jarrah said the children had died in an airstrike on Saturday night. Reporters has been unable to contact the photographer to verify the assertion. Activists used UN banners as shrouds to express their frustrations with the organization, according to activist sources. Activists said they received the photo from a group inside Eastern Ghouta, one of the last rebel-held enclaves in Syria. SIXTH MAN ARRESTED OVER LEICESTER EXPLOSION.. Police arrest man in 40s from East Anglia in connection with incident that killed five people. A sixth man has been arrested in connection with the explosion in Leicester that killed five people. Detectives investigating the blast in Hinckley Road on 25 February said they have arrested a man in his 40s from East Anglia on suspicion of manslaughter. Three men are due in court on Monday charged with manslaughter and arson with intent to endanger life. PROTESTERS IN THOUSANDS OVER POSSIBLE CHANGE OF MACEDONIA’S NAME… Several thousand protesters in Macedonia have demanded that the government call off ongoing talks with neighboring Greece over a decades-long name dispute. Civic organizations joined under the motto “ We are Macedonia” to organize a rally in the capital, Skopje, on Sunday. They are urging the government not to agree to any changes to the country’s name and to protect the Macedonian national identity and language. Prime Minister Zoran Zaev’s 9-month-old center-left government has opened negotiations to resolve Greece’s assertion that Macedonia’s name in its current form implies a territorial claim against its own region with the same name. He was welcomed upon his arrival at Cairo airport by Egptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi. After brief talks at the reception hall at the airport, the presidential convoy escorted the Crown Prince to the Itihadiya Palace. Earlier, the Royal Diwan said talks between the two officials will address bilateral ties and a number of issues of common interest. U.K Prime Minister mandated to make public, secret orders on crimes by M15 The Prime Minister has, today, been forced to publish a previously secret order governing criminal activity by British security services. This is the first time that the UK Government has acknowledged that guidance exists to regulate such activity within the United Kingdom by MI5 agents. The order – referred to as the ‘Third Direction’ in official documents – was only published after a seven-month legal battle by Reprieve and Privacy International. It instructs the Investigatory Powers Commissioner to oversee the participation of MI5 agents in criminal activity. “After a seven-month legal battle the Prime Minister has finally been forced to publish her secret order but we are a long way from having transparency.
